The story of WINVN INT didn't begin in a modern corporate boardroom. It began deep within the coffee plantations of Dak Lak and Gia Lai.
While exploring the highlands, our founder Mark Ton (Tôn Cảm) witnessed local farmers uprooting old, 20+ year-old Robusta coffee trees that had reached the end of their harvest cycle. These massive, dense trunks were treated as agricultural waste — either piled up to rot or burned down, clouding the highland sky with heavy smoke.
Mark took a few pieces home out of curiosity. The wood being burned at the end of every plantation cycle turned out to be the raw material for a chew.
WINVN INT works with two coffee wood factories in Dak Lak and Gia Lai, with a warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City.

Outside recognition
What a certificate is worth depends entirely on who issued it and what they actually checked. VIETRADE is the trade promotion arm of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the list it keeps for the national pavilion is a list of exporters the agency has satisfied itself are real, active and in good standing. That is the whole of it. Nobody at VIETRADE tested a chew, measured its moisture, or walked the workshop floor. Read it as one question closed — this is a registered Vietnamese exporter a government body was willing to name in public — and every question about the product still open, which is why the rest of this site is mostly numbers and paperwork instead of adjectives.

WINVN INT buys the uprooted trees from farming families in Dak Lak and Gia Lai. For a grower, wood that used to be burned at the end of the cycle now brings in cash during the replanting season — the point in the year when money is tightest.
