Private label and OEM
Your brand on the wood, your name on the carton
Auf Deutsch: Kaffeeholz-Kausnacks im Großhandel: was ein Einkäufer vom Hersteller verlangen sollte — die deutschsprachige Übersicht für Großhändler, keine Übersetzung dieser Seite.
Private label on a natural material is a shorter conversation than most buyers expect. There is no formulation to develop and no recipe to protect. There is one plant material, a mark on the surface, and a printed box — plus a list of things WINVN INT will refuse to print for you, which is the part of this page worth reading twice.

Two ways to put your brand on it
1. Laser engraving, directly on the wood
Available from 50 pcs, charged separately. A laser burns the mark into the surface — your logo, a wordmark, a size code. Nothing is added to the material: no ink, no coating, no adhesive. This matters more than it sounds, because the whole argument for coffee wood is that it is one plant material with nothing on it, and a printed sticker quietly undoes that argument.
Engraving runs from 50 pieces, so it is the cheapest way to test whether your customers care about branding on the product itself before you commit to printed packaging.
2. Retail packaging with your printing
Ivory board or unbleached kraft, printed to your artwork. Paper and card — no plastic window, no laminate.
WINVN INT quotes packaging against your artwork and run size rather than from a price list, because the cost moves with quantity, number of colours and box dimensions. Send the artwork and the quantity and you get a number; ask for a number without them and you get a range that helps nobody.
Describe the packaging, do not label it
“Paper and card, no plastic window, no laminate” is a description a buyer can check by holding the box. “Eco-friendly packaging” is a claim someone has to substantiate, and from 27 September 2026 in Germany that someone is you.
The first version also sells better to a serious retail buyer, because it tells them exactly what goes in their waste stream.

The claims WINVN INT will not print for you
This is the section that costs WINVN INT orders, and it stays on the page anyway.
A supplier who prints whatever wording you send is not doing you a favour. The liability for what is on the pack sits with the brand whose name is on it — yours — and a listing pulled or an Abmahnung letter costs far more than the print run.
Not printed, whatever the order size
- Any claim that a chew prevents, treats or cures anything. Article 13(3)(a) of Regulation (EC) 767/2009 prohibits disease claims on feed outright. There is no evidence threshold that unlocks it; it is a prohibition.
- Dental or tartar claims. Same article. A functional claim needs scientific substantiation available at the moment it is published, and no VOHC trial exists for this material.
- “Organic” or “Bio”. Protected wording under Regulation (EU) 2018/848. Using it without certification is an offence in itself.
- “Caffeine-free”. WINVN INT holds no laboratory assay of coffee trunk wood. The published measurements are of leaves and beans. Until there is a report with a laboratory's name on it, the claim does not go on a pack.
- Generic environmental wording — eco-friendly, sustainable, green, climate-neutral. From 27 September 2026 the German implementation of Directive (EU) 2024/825 bans these in advertising unless they are backed by a recognised environmental label or substantiated on the spot.
- Absolute safety wording — “does not splinter”, “100% safe”, “the safest chew”. No supplier can promise a hard chew is safe for every dog, and the ones who do are describing a material they have not watched enough dogs use.
- Invented reviews or testimonials. FTC 16 CFR Part 465 has been in force since 2024, with civil penalties per violation.
What goes on the pack instead
Descriptions a buyer can verify, which read stronger anyway: one plant material, nothing added · moisture measured below 14% before packing · paper and card, no plastic window, no laminate · cut from coffee trees over 20 years old, taken out at the end of their productive life.
And the safety guidance that belongs with every hard chew, attributed rather than asserted: FEDIAF's guidance for chews and treats for dogs — match the size to the dog, supervise chewing, take the piece away once it is small enough to swallow. Print those three lines and your pack is doing something most packs on the shelf are not.

Where private label is the wrong move
- You have not sold the product unbranded yet. Printed packaging is a real commitment.
- Your artwork is not finished. Changing the design after the print tooling is made is a new tooling charge, not an edit.
- You need identical units. Colour and grain vary between lots because the trees vary. Engraving lands differently on different grain. If your brand depends on visual uniformity, natural wood will fight you.
- You want the pack to make a health claim. See the section above. WINVN INT will decline, and you should want a supplier who does.
What to send to start
- Sizes and pack configuration, and whether you want engraving, printed packaging, or both.
- Artwork, or a rough layout if the artwork is not finished — a rough one is enough to quote against.
- Quantity per SKU, and the date you need it to land.
- Destination port, and whether you want EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP.
Full dimensions, carton counts and container loading are on the wholesale specifications page. If you are shipping into Amazon, packing is set out for FBA sellers.

50 pcs per product — sizes can be mixed. Products with your own printed label or box use the same MOQ as stock packaging. Laser engraving on the wood itself is available from 50 pcs, charged separately.
How much does laser engraving cost?
Available from 50 pcs, charged separately. The mark is burned into the surface of the wood; nothing is added to the material, no ink and no coating.
What retail packaging does WINVN INT offer?
Ivory board or unbleached kraft with your own printing: paper and card, no plastic window, no laminate. Packaging is quoted against your artwork and run size rather than from a fixed price list, because the cost moves with quantity, number of colours and box size.
How long does a private label order take?
Send us your files and our sales team will confirm the timeline for your order.
What payment terms does WINVN INT ask for?
Payment terms on request.
Will WINVN INT print any claim I send?
No. WINVN INT will not print claims that a chew prevents, treats or cures anything, will not print organic or eco wording, and will not print a caffeine-free claim, because there is no laboratory assay for coffee trunk wood. Article 13(3)(a) of Regulation (EC) 767/2009 prohibits disease claims on feed outright, and from 27 September 2026 the German implementation of Directive (EU) 2024/825 bans generic environmental wording unless it is backed by a recognised label. A supplier who prints those for you is handing you the liability.
